Stoy Hall:

Well then it's time. Let's, uh, cut on over. Uh, let's see. Um, oh, a little baseball. I want, I wanna sprinkle some baseball in too. What? Um, just because there's some baseball things happening. Um, I don't know if you followed it at all, but Judge agreed with San Francisco for like 40 more million dollars than he eventually went back to the Yankees. And so this is just the two. Did they ever

Cole Ingle:

post the story on that? Like ultimately it just came down to winning. Came down a

Stoy Hall:

legacy to be fair. See, Yankees, I don't really, I didn't care too much outside of that. Right. I just outta that, I was just curious. Um, little college football with Deion, Dion's gonna be, you know, a big deal. Um, Colorado. Yep. Um, you know, I wrote a whole newsletter article on it, so if you guys wanna follow it, go ahead and do that. Read that. It's great. Mm-hmm. Um, but this. This is interesting. I haven't seen any other, it tracks one way or the other, but this makes sense. Makes sense. Now I believe him from knowing who the man he is. He's not gonna be petty and make it right. He'll squash it as much as he possibly can. It would be my assumption. And they run their, they his son and I forgot which one runs their own media. Mm-hmm. So they own everything they have in media. Right. Actually started, we. Goon squad starts subscribing to it. So, um, and very interesting stuff, by the way. Yeah. And very candid. I loved it. Right?

Cole Ingle:

You, yeah. I mean, it's

Stoy Hall:

not talk shit on sons all the time. It's awesome. Um, anyways, um, Albert Coleman, whoever, whoever that is. Mm-hmm. Um, according to my source, uh, jsu Jackson State is in the hot seat. For misuse of football funds, individuals was stealing money. Were stealing money from football program by moving it to general funds and scholarships. Basically stealing from Prime and Players 80. This is 80% why Dion is leaving. This will be the next breaking news. You heard it from here first. Now we haven't heard much, but the plot. Um, really his contract was tied to a lot of sales and I'll let you guys go on here and read it because it's not any of it's verified. Just wanted to mention it. Um, so go in there. But it's, his contract was a lot to do with TV and sales of tickets, um, and apparently, he used all, well, we know this is a fact. He did use his money to build locker rooms and provide things, right? Yep. And apparently, um, he was not getting part of his contract that was due. So interesting. Um, if true, we haven't seen anything based upon it, but wanted to get it out there. Just a little, just a wee bit. Yeah. Um, that's nfl. You don't wanna bring it up? Yeah.

Cole Ingle:

We'll, uh, bring, we can bring that up a little bit.

Stoy Hall:

Um. Oh, you, you did this one. Um, David Ult tweeted Kentucky Quarterback Will, how is Itis? Mm-hmm. I'm gonna go with Levi's. Yeah. I mean, I'm gonna go to,

Cole Ingle:

in Kentucky, he's probably got a nail ill, and if he doesn't, that's on him. In his agent or

Stoy Hall:

it's on them? Levi's. Well, I mean, apparently he's gonna go get drafted. Oh yeah. Hi

Cole Ingle:

too. It's supposed to be tough five. Uh, that's

Stoy Hall:

a very easy. Yeah. Just a very easy advertisement deal. Right, right.

Cole Ingle:

Yeah. Everything's there. You don't have to change anything. You don't do

Stoy Hall:

anything. Yep. Uh, we'll not play in the bowl game against Iowa. Mm-hmm. now makes sense. It's a irrelevant bowl. Yep. Um, against a really good defense. So why one, why put yourself

Cole Ingle:

in this draft? Stock has dropped a little bit already. I didn't heard it anymore.

Stoy Hall:

Yeah. Um, so it is, is what it. so this

Cole Ingle:

is possible showdown. Uh, deuce Hogan who played at Iowa, uh, is a backup at Kentucky. So you're possibly getting backup number three or four, depending on which one wins the job at Iowa versus backup number two or three, which would also be a former Iowa backup, um, playing against each other in a bowl game. Uh, Kentucky had two other receivers drop out. So I mean, we're talking about like the excitement of young players and guys who have never got a chance to be able to play against each other. It's a bowl game to watch. Uh, except for I, the over under in this game might start in the mid twenties.

Stoy Hall:

No, it didn't. It was in the, um, it was like 42, 43 or something. Cuz I saw someone. Under just ride the Yeah, no doubt. And that obviously it's been going down since, because there's no way, there's no way it could not have mm-hmm. been doing that, so, um, yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. Also, overall, we're not gonna speak much about the bowl games. There is bowl games this week. Yeah. Um, we're not gonna highlight those, um, for a couple reasons. Not because we don't care about the teams. Don't care about college football. But it's not gonna be good football, i e what we're learning here. Right, right. A lot of players aren't gonna play, don't know who's playing, don't know who's playing, can't really bet on it. Um, some people do. Uh, I don't bet on these low games. I only bet when we get into New Year's Day and you

Cole Ingle:

games, a lot of this is, there's gonna be a lot of sharp action on these. Mm-hmm. there's a lot of up and down. Uh, I saw one the other day, coastal Carolina's quarterback, um, announced that he was transferring. however that moved the line in, I believe it's Central Michigan. They're playing mm-hmm. it's like six or seven points. The last part of his tweet when he's transferring, he's playing in the bowl game, So if you got in, in the gap between, between that non dropping, timing, whatever, um, so just things like that are reasons that they're, stay away for your casual better. you're gonna get a lot of in-game stuff, you know, trending stuff once you start watching, if you got a feeling one way or the other. But besides that, you know, it's not something that you try to predict 3, 5, 7 days out. Uh, just not a chance. Pretty much impossible without following. So we're gonna stay away

Stoy Hall:

from it, but we will continue, uh, to always have these types of updates. So this was crazy. Yeah. Did you guys know? that Lamar Jackson and Stetson Bennetton were both born in the same year, the same year.

Cole Ingle:

Joe Burrow also, if you wanna throw that in there, and Joe Burrow apparently, uh, there's so a handful. La Lauren is younger

Stoy Hall:

Heisman in 2016. Like, how crazy is that? And it really, I mean, it all stems from that. Stetson Bennett is old, right? Like that's just an old ass man. Causes it in

Cole Ingle:

a young kid's game.

Stoy Hall:

Oh, all right. So then we switch. Guess we don't need to be, go. Yep. And we go, uh, Nope. Nope. What's this one? Oh, little Tigray. Did you watch the match? I did. What'd

Cole Ingle:

you think? Uh, of the format? It was good. I like the format. I mean, I like those four guys. Um,

Stoy Hall:

I think if it wasn't those four guys though,

Cole Ingle:

it wasn't, it wouldn't have been as good.

Stoy Hall:

No. And I don't, I don't know if I liked night golf. Yeah. From a spectator

Cole Ingle:

out like. You have to be on a course that actually has night golf. Like they brought lighting into that course and it wasn't good. Mm-hmm. I mean, they had, it was dark, light spots, lights, it was dark.

Stoy Hall:

Um, like they were shining flashlights on their ball. Like so they could see

Cole Ingle:

to hit'em. Yeah. Oh yeah. They had no full spotlights. Every player had a guy with a spotlight following them, which that's

Stoy Hall:

what was like, uh, so

Cole Ingle:

at least they were prepared, like knowing that that was going to be the case. But yeah, it wasn't aesthetically pleasing. No. Uh, you couldn't see a lot of places on the golf course. You couldn't see where balls were finishing. You couldn't tell. A lot of times I didn't feel like you could tell which area, like where the green was in accordance to where they were hitting. So it's kinda hard to track. But as far as the entertainment factor of it, um, it was great. Enjoyed, enjoyed that part,

Stoy Hall:

and it was obviously, um, tiger lovers. It was good to see'em stripe the ball. Yeah. Obviously there's some. Rust and stuff, but whatever. Um, that course though, from what you can see in the dark, looked Yeah. Immaculate.

Cole Ingle:

Well, and those four were just raving about, you know, how good the greens were and

Stoy Hall:

stuff like that. Um, I love how it started off them getting the carts and just nice little Coors light and just getting at it. The one

Cole Ingle:

thing I will say is, uh, not good for golf courses in generals, like specifically public golf courses. To watch four of the best players in the world just drive their carts right up to the edge of. Um, which you're just not supposed to do. And I just like, so I, as a golf enthusiast was like, eh, not good.

Stoy Hall:

Not good. Don't do that. Groundskeeper was probably like, Ugh. Wait, wait, wait, wait. It's private. Our check is huge. All right, that's fine. I'll deal with it. I'll deal with it tomorrow, so it's fine. I'll deal with it tomorrow. Um, but, uh, a, a couple from the, the Tiger Tracker. Mm-hmm. um, couple quotes from Tiger. I'm lucky enough to have gotten to a point where I can actually hit the. All full speed. I can hit any shot you want. Next progression is able to walk and then I'll be able to compete against these kids again. Um, I think that's an important piece. Like who don't follow golf. Yeah. And the reason we're bringing up golf more is because after bowl season Yeah. Really all we have is golf trans transition right into it. We got NFL playoffs and golf. Yep. That's all we got. So we're gonna do a little, uh, of that. But, uh, plantar fasciitis and his. uh,

Cole Ingle:

yeah. That and just still, well, he, he's the injury, but like Yeah. He, uh, gimp around. I would not even

Stoy Hall:

limped, but, but the thing is, and I've heard him say this before, is he's always gonna have a limp because his leg is actually shorter. Right. When they did his surgery, they shaved off part of his leg. Right. But it looks painful still at this point. Oh, it does. It does, but it doesn't look like it affects his swing now, as opposed. It did. Oh, right. That's true. And we're talking about a man who made the cut in the majors, which. Yeah, man. It's just, just doesn't make sense. Goat doesn't make sense. Um, right now I'm driving it longer than I did in my prime, and it's all due to technology. Mm-hmm. I'm hitting Myrons, uh, farther now than I ever have. The ball has changed so much and he changes his ball. He actually went from the bx s, which is the soft, to just the regular bx. Yeah. So you got 10 more yards, Carrie? Is that good? I don't know. I bet, I bet it pop those sails. Yeah. So I play the bxs. I like the soft feel personally myself. Um, it was a little golf. I had to put this out there. First off, if you're not following PGA two, or which is t u or, um, they have some funny things, but this one is breaking. The United States attempted to trade Patrick Reed for Britney Griner, but Russia declined the offer, not wanting him either.

Cole Ingle:

I mean, she's fun. Just enough said. Yeah.

Stoy Hall:

It's just, that's just fun. Mm-hmm. It's just fun. Uh, I think this might be the last golf thing, but does this man have the most unlucky, like in golf or what?

Cole Ingle:

I mean, this, his ball actually ended up okay here. His ball ends up in the green. Yeah, but I mean, still, it would've been closer. It would've been locked closer. But he did make.

Stoy Hall:

He did. Yeah, he did. And the other guy would've

Cole Ingle:

been able, real quick replay that those that are viewing with us, he's a hundred and call 120 yards out, whatever, far enough away, he's hitting a full shot, his ball. So you can see two golf balls right there. The golf ball on the right was just struck by his ball. The ball on the left, which was laying on the green, and he shot the golf ball on the right, 20 ish yards off the green. for those who are interested, um, that golf ball will get to be replaced and putted from approximately the area of which it was struck. Correct. And then Tagalo plays his golf ball from wherever it lands. Yep. So, um,

Stoy Hall:

but we're talking about Tagalo, like last year had crazy bounces and divots. Yeah, no, he's like,

Cole Ingle:

he's just, uh, got his first win this weekend. He, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yep. As well. Good to see you. Good

Stoy Hall:

to see. Lot of nfl. Nfl, uh, I can't really play that.

Cole Ingle:

Oh yeah. This is good.

Stoy Hall:

This is, this is really good. I'm to turn the volume off so we don't get, all right. Well, actually, I, I leave it here because of the caption. Yep. So, uh, where's my mouse? You're going to faas, uh, caption is by Reggie, uh, Chapman, Jr. Why did the security guard think he could stop it? The, the literal United States Army. Army from Russia on the field. So if, if you check this guy right here? Yeah.

Cole Ingle:

What now? You can zoom in. Yeah. Hold me back. Me back. Just hold, I dunno. Hold you back. Yeah, don't go on the, oh, uh,

Stoy Hall:

ah. Screw it. The literal, I

Cole Ingle:

mean, does he have a guy in his ear?

Stoy Hall:

Like, get him, get him. No. Get

Cole Ingle:

em all. No, no, no. Oh.

Stoy Hall:

Oh. This is, this is, this is, I sad. This is, Like, I don't even know, and I'm going to, I'm gonna stop here. Okay. This is, uh, running back, uh, high school, uh, championship game champ game. Yep. Um, I think it's second or third down, so granted there would be another down people were making a thing of that, but running back's here right now. Mm-hmm. here right now tackled

Cole Ingle:

what happened. So the only thing that I can say for the ref is if you watch the end of the play, there's a guy that, that guy right there falls from D Zone. Mm-hmm. And so like you can see the unsure duty is the guy's running down the line. He just throws his arms up and nobody, like everybody got up over here fast enough. Nobody knew who had the ball. Like I, I didn't know. It took me three times watching. Right. So like, I can understand, but like you can see that the guy, cuz like all of a sudden he falls down. But then like, it's just the timing of the play. Like if that guy didn't fall into the end zone, I don't think. but like how

Stoy Hall:

didn't he, like how did he just agree?

Cole Ingle:

No, that's my biggest thing is with the guy over the, like I have a bigger problem with the

Stoy Hall:

guy because the guy over the football is looking at the football, in my opinion right now, and he

Cole Ingle:

watches where it came from. Like, this guy can't see where the football is

Stoy Hall:

even so here he's not calling it. Yeah, he's calling it, right. He looks at him and goes, oh yeah, yeah, that's fine. I don't know what to tell you, but this guy's not close. He's down. There. This is the football. Yeah.

Cole Ingle:

I mean, he's a yard short. This isn't, we're not talking six inches. We're not talking about extending the football yet. I mean, it's just a,

Stoy Hall:

that's it. The issues. Issues. I would not like to lose a na uh, state championship that way. Now, granted again, it was not fourth down, so. Right. They could have scored again, but didn't even, didn't even get the chance. No. Didn't get the chance. Nfl, nfl, nfl, that's where you named it. Oh God. The roughing,

Cole Ingle:

passer. I mean, yeah, if we've gotten through the college, we can kind of cycle back through.

Stoy Hall:

I think there was just one college left Ca mcara that is important. Oh, did, did you see Cade Mcara? Yeah. It was up. Oh. I thought you just said, and then Mike Leach. Yeah, that's the one I was actually looking for. Where'd it go? Mike Leach is

Cole Ingle:

at the very bottom. We don't have to, don't worry about the ca mc

Stoy Hall:

I think, sorry, Cade. We don't give a shit about you. Yeah. Welcome to

Cole Ingle:

Iowa. Yep. Welcome to Iowa. Just forever be known as pet's little brother.

Stoy Hall:

It's muted. Uh, and we'll just let it play. Um, I, I don't know much about Mike Leach except for He's a good dude.

Cole Ingle:

I mean, I will say Mike Leach hasn't looked the greatest in interviews this year. So Mississippi State, I think that job took a toll on him. But, uh, yeah, Sunday night, I believe it was, uh, Mike Leach, uh, had a mass fire attack and, uh, ended up passing away, I think officially this morning. This morning and or overnight, depending, uh, on sources, right? There was a lot of people that had him dead yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately, that was incorrect. But, uh, yeah, nonetheless, 61 years old and, uh, a college football treasure. Yeah. Um, yeah, absolutely. You can find them all over. Not difficult to find, uh, quotes for Mike Leach, um, montages, um, basically memorandums, uh, for him, uh, today. Uh, highly recommend. Um, a lot of rambling, uh, does go on with Leach, but, uh, a. A lot of gold comes outta that man's mouth. Um, lot of gold and just conversations with people. The man from everything that I can read, there was not a, nobody was a stranger to him. No. And he wasn't afraid to give any money advice. Uh, first time he met him, um, and all in a very, uh, weighty dry he humor type of, of way. So, uh, will be sorely missed in the world of college football. um, and in the Twitter world, uh, just because his, his bites were second to none. So, um, r i p two, Mike Leach and, uh, prayers to his family. Absolutely.

Stoy Hall:

Um, you said it fantastically and to those other coaches and coaches out there, um, I was talking to the guys about this and like heart attacks and heart, um, disease or whatever has to be a leading cause for coaches. And, um, just take care of yourself if you can. Obviously, we know you work thousand hours a week. Um, we know how stressful the job is. Um, take care of yourself cuz uh, it happens, it happens often. And 61 years is, is not old, but as that is young and so burns out. Oh. All right. College football or N nfl? What? What do you new? No, we're good. You going for something? No, we're good. All right. I don't know if we could start it in a more aggressive manner than starting it with, yeah. Yeah. Just big cock Brock is in the The nighters locker.

Cole Ingle:

So this came out last week. Last week, yeah. Um, and this is awesome. Against the dolphins.

Stoy Hall:

Yeah. We'll talk about dolphins

Cole Ingle:

and then continued this week, uh, with the bucks, but, uh, you know, it was echoed throughout the locker room. Um, offense, defense coaches, uh, alike, everyone. A, a Purdy fan.

Stoy Hall:

Deebo. Oh, he definitely has balls. Yeah. Let's just love this.

Cole Ingle:

So, uh, just a lot of different, uh, quotes, A lot of different apparent reasons he called Time Out

Stoy Hall:

without

Cole Ingle:

Shanahan calling it. Yeah, apparently I remember

that.

Stoy Hall:

Yeah. I don't Kittle You got some Kaho to, yeah. Um, Shanahan, he's got some balls out there. Yep. Yeah. Forgive me for saying that. 50%. And then, uh, yeah, he's reportedly named a big cock. Yeah. And

Cole Ingle:

hey, after back, this was after a half a start and backed it up. Half a game. Excuse me. Not

Stoy Hall:

boy. He back it up though. Yeah. What you saying? I'm just saying and it's, it's really hype for us. Obviously he went to Iowa State here, um, in Iowa, Ames. Yeah. Everyone we know is hype. It's, it's a really good story. Mm-hmm. not to mention he was Mr. Relevant, right? No, not zero. Mr. Relevance have ever done what he's doing? Yeah. It's good to see. By the way, when I saw him in preseason, you look good. He's a, he's a pro quarterback.

Yeah.

Cole Ingle:

Like a, he, he knows how to run an offense. He knows he has enough moxie to have respect of guys and does it the right way. And he's not going to try to do in the NFL more than what his skillset allows for him. And he's in a very good system in order to be able to do that. Correct. Um, that is very With very multiple. With tons of studs. With

Stoy Hall:

studs everywhere. Yeah. So like that also That also helps. Yeah. Helps, helps. Um,

Cole Ingle:

but yeah, and then he went out and backed it up again this week, which, is huge for, uh, for them. Uh, and then he beat the goat, Tom Brady, who his parents got tickets to the game, um, way earlier in the season to see the game this week against the Bucks. Um, because they were playing Tom Brady and turns out their son was starting quarterback. Yeah. Cool. Huh? So, uh, yeah. Good, uh, good fortune there for them. Absolutely. Um, and by all but measures a great family and a great. Great leader for that team right now. Absolutely.

Stoy Hall:

But back to, um, what, who this quote came after and that was the, the Dolphins. Yeah. So our theme of the week is what? Frauds. Frauds, fraud, or not. Fraud or not, yeah. Player and teams. Players and teams. Players and teams. So yeah, overall theme. That's what we're gonna get with, um, we'll have some other things spread in here. fraud or not Right. Fraud, or not fraud or not?

Cole Ingle:

Um, I don't need, and, and here's how, uh, there's gotta be a little definition involved with each of these. Um, each of them will be a little bit different. Um, there's some front of the pack teams who we think will, may or may not think, I guess, uh, can make a deep run in the playoffs. And there's some teams who. Our bottom of the pack, but we may or not think, you know, have a chance to make it all the way back into the playoffs. Mm-hmm. um, players who have been put in positions to fail and players who have been put in su positions to succeed. And whether we not, uh, there's sustainable success for them or will, or is it sustainable failure? Um, and, and our thoughts on, on those players. quarterbacks will be the theme of that position. Um, absolutely. But, uh, teams that, you know, most have talked about, but, uh, some other ones we'll throw in there just to get thoughts as we get closer to playoffs and playoff races

Stoy Hall:

and really every team that we're talking about, um, I went through it again. Mm-hmm. is, well, every game or team mm-hmm. is in a, in the playoff hunt. Yeah. But, so that's what we're gonna get to. So, um, I have it pulled up already for you, everybody. um, to talk about former quarterback of the Falcons. Yeah, I cannot wait to get to that later. Um, cuz I don't know where it is in the whole thing. But the highest single season uncatchable inaccurate throw percentage from clean pockets since 2017. Sadly, Carson wins is up there. Yeah. Uh, that's bad marker. Marcus Marietta's up there though. And that, uh, just goes to the theme. what happens to him later. But, um, overall, overall pretty funny. Um, he's pretty bad at, at football. Um, this is just more Russell Wilson dig and it's not cuz he's concussed. I apologize for all that, but not playing well. Yeah. But this is hilarious. Britney. Britney Geer, by the way, I can't spell for the Merchant of Death, is still a better trade than this Russell Wilson to the Broncos. Yeah, I have a lot of Broncos fans that would agree to that. Yeah, would agree to that. So we had brought it up. Um, oh man. I don't know. Ah, yeah, I brought it up earlier. Raiders are now owned for when leading by double digits at half this season, making them statistically the biggest chokers in the NFL history, which is great. Falcons fans, 28 threes over cuz they're now deemed the biggest choke artists in the NFL history. So that's good for us. Um, we can move on now, which is good cuz rid starting,

Cole Ingle:

I think it. Specifically regular season

Stoy Hall:

maybe? Nope. It doesn't say that. It just says NFL history, so we're gonna go with it. Throw it in there. Now, when we get to Super Bowl history, they'll never not have that record. That's correct. Uh, but the Raiders have now lost to an ESPN analyst coaching his first N F NFL game, a quarterback who's been on his team for less than 48 hours and knows like six plays. It's true, it's true. Raiders have given up, I believe it was like a 14, 20, 17, and 10 point leads. Yep. In I have time. Bad Ash's bad. Um, let's see. Oh, baker. Yeah. A little baker Act. Well, you guys can't hear that nor see it. Uh, but um, in this little, I. um, Bakker basically said, I, I took a gamble. I just booked a flight to la um, basically a couple days ago before he cleared waivers. Yeah. And he was signed by an LA and starting 48 hours later. Yeah. Which is insane to me. And not starting to be fair, I think. I think, uh, what's his name? Yeah. Remember his name came in. Yeah, he was three plays, man. Some. Yeah, he was a token not start. I'm pretty sure. Like, I don't know why they just wouldn't. Right. Just

Cole Ingle:

do it. Pull the bandaid off. Right. Okay. Live in a completely different game if he played the first two series. Sure. What if

Stoy Hall:

Um, okay. We're done with the Rams after this, but this one, this one, this one had me laughing out loud actually. uh, Bridget Condom. I can't stop thinking about how the Rams basically Amazon primed a quarterback for the game last night.

Cole Ingle:

Nailed it. Nailed it. Pays to have Prime. Oh,

Stoy Hall:

sure does. That was a good one. Uh, that wasn't a good one. Um, this is, this is different for the NFL to do. This is mightily aggressive in my. Opinion. Um,

Cole Ingle:

yeah, but they're sending a message

Stoy Hall:

and they are, and I, I, it's aggressive and I, I love it at the same time. Um, I don't as a defender, but overall I do. Uh, Adam Sch tweeted NFL Find the Saints$350,000, the head coach, a hundred thousand. uh, co-defense coordinator cuz they have a co mm-hmm. which is stupid. Um, this stands are stupid. Uh, Ryan Nelson, 50,000 and then Cam Jordan, 50,000 for what the league felt was Jordan faking an injury and taking a knee in the Monday night game.

Cole Ingle:

Um, yeah, in this specific scenario, I mean, it's hard to tell. Like you don't, you see the knee and the Monday night. Ye and it, it is what it is. But, um, this what you're going to see down. on the screen now on the Bengals game is an obvious fake. Um, he and Jordan end up having an MRI on his issue. But, uh, right here, these two guys are in the field. Coach tells him Go down. 30 falls down, starts holding. Oh my hamstring. Um, Quickly moves to an ankle, then maybe a calf stretch and off the field to go with no visible limp and no injury report and in

Stoy Hall:

the game immediately

Cole Ingle:

after, after would deserve a fine. I hope they got fined. I didn't see anything on that, but, um, yeah, they're gonna get blowback from, uh, cam Jordan and already have, uh, simply because he did sustain an injury and he can prove it. So my guess is that that will get lessened and. removed

Stoy Hall:

and then applied heavily to the Bengals? To Bengals.

Cole Ingle:

Absolutely true. Um, the problem is if you can get your ass off the field, get your ass off the field. Correct. And I think that was more the thing is like could he have gotten off the field? Yeah. The answer's probably yes. Now

Stoy Hall:

have defenders when you're getting no huddled to death, have we maybe been too tired? Absolutely. Absolutely. It's part of it. Now the difference here is that this wasn't, that wasn't the case. They just wanted to sub for the Cincinnati Bengals without taking, without a timeout. Timeout, yeah. Um, wouldn't, you're getting no huddled to death actually. Fatigue is an injury. Right?

Cole Ingle:

Right. Yeah, yeah. Sure. Mental. Yeah, a mental one. Um,

Stoy Hall:

I'm not, I'm not saying we've ever done that on purpose. Wouldn't take a dive. I've never kicked my own teammate in the shin. Just go down. Just come. You're hurt. Um, that's never happened. You're not hurt. You're about to be hurt. You're about to be hurt. You better get your ass down. Um, alright. Back to I will always put up Saints and Bucks. Getting their ass to str. I will always, always do it. Always. Yeah, always. So f alcoholic, of course I follow them. Yeah. Buccaneers are like the opposite of a horror movie villain. Every time you think they're going in for the kill, they fall down a flight of stairs. Backwards. Backwards. Oh, that's great. And this, this I watched, like I had. I don't know what I was watching. Mm-hmm. all I know is I tuned in is specifically at this play, and this is when I was like, oh, Brocks,

Cole Ingle:

slanging, slanging slang in that thing.

Stoy Hall:

Yeah, because this ball, first of all, getting pressured is put where hit has to be. Oh no. He could have probably put it inside if he wanted to, but. This was phenomenal dime. I loved every part of that. So we to a pretty good player too. Now I'm not understanding why when this, this player specifically McCaffrey, if you guys don't know, is lined up out here as a reign back that this guy, did you see the route though? Did you see where his eyes were? Yeah.

Cole Ingle:

Did you see what he's trying to do? He's trying to take advantage of a rookie quarterback cuz Purdy's staring him down. He's. Yeah, but watch, watch. McCaffrey's already did Watch what McCaffrey did from the beginning though. Let's go back because the third and five, you gotta remember third, third down, and five, oh, I'm gonna run a slant. Nope. McCaffery stuttered stemmed him. He st. He stuttered the slant. Purdy stared down the slant and they beat him. And I love

Stoy Hall:

it because this is, I mean, that's

Cole Ingle:

swagger, like, that's digs getting beat from the Cowboys. Like, I mean, that's just anybody who's a little bit more aggressive trying to take advantage of a young quarterback who he didn't. Had the balls right to throw the ball over the top on third and five, and guess what?

Stoy Hall:

Boom, Purdy does. All right. Well, this tweet basically says sums up the season for, for the Broncos. By the way, this is when, like, this is a blowout, right? Mm-hmm. We're all thinking, but this is, this is funny. This is just oop, oops. Stiff arm. Oh, on the ground. I. Here you go. Here you go. Just, I, I've been seeing this year, um, a lot more plays by DNS pick, picking the ball off, not swatting it. Right. A lot more this year. I wonder if they've done some training starting to coach, starting coach as opposed to just hitting the ball down. So that's very interesting. But the Broncos are still bad at, well, I mean,

Cole Ingle:

ultimately if you think about it, um, like block shots in basketball and stuff like that, swatting down should not be taught. Like your highest point is your highest point, which is when your arms are straight up in the air and you're at your top of your leap. Mm-hmm. So as a defensive end linebacker, anyone that's coming to the face, at no point should you ever, unless you're literally getting ready to take the quarterback down, should your arms ever come down, because it's never gonna be at your highest point. So if you start to go through that process and like,

Stoy Hall:

oh, oh, and then just try to catch it. And then, yeah.

Cole Ingle:

What's the worst that happened? Did you deflect it like, well, that, and you're gonna have a better chance at catching, even if you hit it here, like you're not coming down, the ball's not gonna, it's going to pop up in the air. And as a defender, That's all you ever want to do is just get the ball up in the air so you can catch it. make a play. Take a, make a play. You're not wrong.

Stoy Hall:

Make a play. Make a damn a microphone. It don't matter, right? Don't matter. Uh, Warren Sharp starting 49ers. Uh, quarterback Brock Purdy played so well in blowing out. Tom Brady's bucks for 35 to seven. The Kyle Shahan sat him with eight minutes remaining now. Yeah, just to keep him healthy. Brock did get an mri. on an oblique. Ah, that's fine. So, but he, he did play the entire game, except that's why ABS are rated. But could you imagine writing that sentence in September? Yeah. You know?

Cole Ingle:

Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Stoy Hall:

uh, Stuckey, um, Bengals, Ravens season finale for division going to be interesting. Winner would likely host Miami and Loser would likely go to t. prefer to lose now. Now this is a little primer for the playoffs. Yeah. It's a conversation,

Cole Ingle:

but also a little primer for the fraud conversation. Mm-hmm.

Stoy Hall:

I, I know who I'm taking. Yeah. It's work that way, huh? Yeah. Um, would you likely host Miami or go to Tennessee?

Cole Ingle:

I mean, if I'm the Ravens and my run defenses good. I'm hosting Tennessee. I'm not afraid of

Stoy Hall:

anything. They could, even the air. Um, ultimately these two teams should not care, right?

Cole Ingle:

You, you need to be able to beat both of those teams, but does not matter. Uh, the ravens have bigger things to worry about with quarterback. Here we

Stoy Hall:

go. Here we go

Cole Ingle:

again. Be prepared to watch the worst call in the NFL history, third and 20. First down Chargers. First down Chargers. First down Chargers. You say what? But he sacked him and then he put his arms down, landed on him real soft. And then he celebrated. Oh, did he get called for taunting? No, he got called for roughing the damn passer.

Stoy Hall:

Are you kidding me? I I, are you kidding me? I, what, what, what else is he supposed to do? What else is happening

Cole Ingle:

here? The guy in the white hat doesn't even throw a damn flag right away. He waits. because it's the, it's the head official who throws the flag here. Mm-hmm. bottom of your screen on the left. That's good. No flag out. Post it nowhere. Never. At some point, now the flag comes out. First down Chargers on third and, oh, it was third and nine. Excuse me. It would've been fourth and 20. He,

Stoy Hall:

he hit him. He hit him too hard. He land, he

Cole Ingle:

called forcible landing or whatever the hell. Which is stupid. Stupid ass rule. That is, but

Stoy Hall:

is not because watch, watch him put

Cole Ingle:

his hands out. His hands out. Put hands out, both of. from the other side. He puts his other hand

Stoy Hall:

down. You can't forcibly put all your weight. Well, I mean, you actually can't put all your weight on somebody with your hands out, but like, that's what they're taught. He hit the

Cole Ingle:

lineman harder than he hit the quarterback, the other guy laying on the ground that he ran

Stoy Hall:

through. Oh, roughing. The passers are gonna be the death. Oh, the death of me.

Cole Ingle:

So, yeah, that's, uh, uh, I don't know. I, I don't wanna see it again. I don't wanna talk about it anymore. Just hot garbage

Stoy Hall:

happening. Oh shit. Talking. Buttons. Uh, Travis Kelsey's the first tight end. Uh, thank you Bill And Barnwell. Age 33. You're older to make it over a thousand yards. Receiving since 1965. That's, that was, that was crazy. I

Cole Ingle:

want to know what tight end in 1965 got a thousand yards

Stoy Hall:

They don't throw the ball, right. One guy.

Cole Ingle:

Uh, I mean, yeah. I don't even know who that would possibly be.

Stoy Hall:

Um, this one though, going back to the rough and the passer. Yeah. I love this take. Yeah. Mcfe nailed it. It's a, it's a, it's a great take. I mean, I, I think there needs to be more, but this is a very flat, easy transition to everything that the rules are. Yeah. Pat McAfee, if the roughing, the passer call is on a failed third down before an obvious punt situation, it should be

Cole Ingle:

reviewable. Here's the problem. We need to define obvious punt

Stoy Hall:

situation. Correct. I think it just should be on. Yeah. Period. And that's just a step. There's a lot of more steps. Yeah. But this would be a very easy implementation. Yep. My opinion, um, should be reviewable. It's effectively and actually a turnover. All turnovers are reviewed. Right.

Cole Ingle:

It's a turnover on downs. Like we literally call it that. We literally

Stoy Hall:

call it that. Boom. We got a piece of it figured out. Yeah. That's an easy implementation I think. Uh, then if I should do next season, cuz this is getting re absolutely red. Ridiculous has cost multiple teams multiple. Oh, what is this one? What is this? Same thing. Oh

Cole Ingle:

yeah, they hear, yeah. Yeah. Pick up the flag. Mm-hmm. It's over and

Stoy Hall:

over again. So buzzed down. I was, but, but which is a great transition cuz I don't know if you guys saw this. This is, this, this is old school right here. This is the har hardest. You can legally hit a quarterback and it not be a flag. Just cut him in half. Don't land on him though. Take, take out the knee with the deal. Yeah. Hurt someone else, but don't, don't, uh, take out the quarterback. But I mean, just ride him.

Cole Ingle:

I mean, Mike White literally went to the hospital after the game for internal injury, he says of that, that because of that hit.

Stoy Hall:

Oh, I saw that live and I was, I was so excited. So excited. Actually I was, oh wait, 15

Cole Ingle:

yards. Yep, that's exactly 15 yards. 13

Stoy Hall:

touch quarterbacks. 15. Except for in this

Cole Ingle:

scenario, watch out for the gut punch underneath the table. Oh my Lord. I brush your eyebrow. You might imagine hit that hard. The worst part was damn car accident, man. It's cuz he

Stoy Hall:

stepped into it to throw. Oh yeah. There was nothing he could have. Hey, Mike. Good

Cole Ingle:

for him. Mike White came back, he's on my warrior

Stoy Hall:

list. Came back in the game. They should have won. He, uh, yeah. Good. Good for him. Good for him. And then and then this, and then this. What? So we've shown you two roughing the passers. Yeah. Well, three, technically, three potentials, right? Right. One was, One should never have been called. It was just the greatest hit on the quarterback. I mean, the mic

Cole Ingle:

white hit was completely legal as he released the ball and hit him. What was this called on? Was this called? I don't know. I don't care. It's Brady.

Stoy Hall:

It was not. No, that's just great. But I love

Cole Ingle:

it. And it's the MJ love. Give him the choke slam. Just choked the shit. Uh, did he go to the ground on this play? I don't know. My guess is no, probably not. It probably was a hit. Yeah. Like it just happened to catch at the right time. But I love it. But it looks like he's about to just pick him up, up choke neck

Stoy Hall:

shit outta there. Oh, it love, I

Cole Ingle:

don't think that's what happened.

Stoy Hall:

No, but I want, I want someone, yeah. I want someone to do it.

Cole Ingle:

Complete that for me. Like the Finish him. Yeah. Um, mortal Combat. Yeah. TW tweet.

Stoy Hall:

Uh, the greatest catch. That wasn't a catch.

Cole Ingle:

I mean, it is

Stoy Hall:

a really good catch, don't get me wrong, but it's not the greatest. It was a good catch though.

Cole Ingle:

He just throws casually, throws an arm out there. It's the gloves.

Stoy Hall:

Yeah. If he didn't fumble later, it'd have more respect. Interesting. Well, and

Cole Ingle:

also like, I just didn't understand what he was like. He kind of got pushed out of the back of the end zone. Nobody's really paying attention to where the ball is. No, but like, I don't, the whole play was just kind of awkward.

Stoy Hall:

It really was. Cuz he, it's not like he was, he didn't have a crazy amount of momentum pushing him out.

Cole Ingle:

Oh. Like did 20, did 21 push him out? Like, should there have been a flag? I couldn't. That whole play was just kind of weird.

Stoy Hall:

And like, now the best thing I think I've seen all weekend, actually, it's from Nelson Aguilar. Okay. All right. Play happens. Gets rocked. Yep. We all can see one thing. He's not struggling to get up, he's not doing well. Lineman

Cole Ingle:

grabs him. Ooh, watch out. All right. Not, not doing well. And then like the thing is he kind of gets rocked, but like nothing obvious on the hit. Like so like from an initial, but like,

Stoy Hall:

but he can't stand and aguilar's losing his shit. Yeah, he is losing his shit. He's, he was. He was taking a knee, he was, Nelson was doing everything possible, right? To get someone to recognize the fact that he is concussed. He can't even stand in it. He cannot

Cole Ingle:

stand, get your

Stoy Hall:

ass off.

Cole Ingle:

He's like, no, he's like your mom. When you know you did something wrong at the playground, get your ass over. Right?

Stoy Hall:

Like, that's just not, uh, what I love about this is as a teammate, taking care of a teammate, right? What I do not like. this should have been called down in, right? Like,

Cole Ingle:

like right immediately. We obviously saw that. I, like I said, I don't see anything immediate on the hit, but then here, like, what are we doing? And ultimately somebody did buzz down, like, I don't think, I don't think, no, I don't think it was Aguilar that ultimately got their attention. I don't, no, I could be wrong, but I don't need that. Somebody finally did. But

Stoy Hall:

because that was bad. But I,

Cole Ingle:

I loved, would they have noticed had he not? I, I don't know. I think the people looking down on. Probably saw right Aguilar? Yeah. Um, before, but yeah, great job outta him. Um, saw that immediately. T y Hilton Big news. Um, gonna be honest, I did not know where he was available or how, or what t y Hilton was up to me neither, um, before today. Mm-hmm. When he was spotted, I truly thought he stole the cults signing for the cowboy. So my thought was like he retired because of injuries and stuff that he's fought through or that he was injured on someone else's roster. I didn't think he was still with the Colts, cause I thought I remembered him leaving them last year. But as much as o BJ has been talked about and everything like that, and he's like literally the only guy that's been talked about from a open free agent or, you know, unrestricted or unsigned free agent. Excuse me. Um, but yeah, no, no clue that t was. Considerable possibility. Honestly. Love the pickup. Love it. Um, in love, low key. Gotta be a, I'm nothing bad about the guy. So great locker room guy. And it fills a position that, uh, Dallas has not gotten back since they lost Cedric Wilson last year. Noah Brown's been okay, but that's not his natural position. Um, gallops come back, gotten better each week, so I like what we're doing there. You can fit it, Noah Brown in with him, and then obviously on the other side you got CD and Hilton just gives you another piece to that puzzle. So hope that he's healthy, hope that he's ready to go. I mean, he's been sitting out for however long now, so.

Stoy Hall:

Right. Gotta be good.

Cole Ingle:

I love, dude was a number one receiver in the NFL for a long time, so, to tell me that he can't come in and be productive. I, I, I be a three. You gotta prove me wrong here. Right. I love it. And just be being able to not, I mean, he's not gonna get in double teams, like mm-hmm. come in and win, uh, on some short routes and, and beat some guys in some zero coverage when everybody's loading the box, come playoff time. Um, yeah, I like it. I, I really like the ad. I like it so much better than o bj, so. Oh,

Stoy Hall:

absolutely. There's a lot less package. Oh, let's back at you. Okay. We're in fraudulent time. All right. Just about, um, there is one little big news about Marcus Mariota that no one cares about, but I, okay. Um, uh, actually, I want to read, yeah, I'll read this one. So Marietta was told on Thursday that, uh, the rookie Ritter was coming in to start because Marietta has been awful at throwing the football. Oh, okay. Like terrible, no disagreements. Okay. Really bad at throwing the football. Um, so Smith informed Marietta the decision on Thursday. The Falcons then learned on Friday that Marietta planned to step away from. What the f what the, he's injured. Okay. Well, maybe, so, Jeff Schultz. Schultz, sorry. Uh, Arthur Smith, um, said the knee is nothing that has been an issue this season, but that's Marietta Marietta's Progno. So of course you want all your guys to be here, but guys have to make decisions. It's part of professional. So who's your backup quarterback? We picked up, um, what's his name from the Titans? Uh, God, I, I haven't, I don't know him enough. Logan's something, Logan.

Oh,

Cole Ingle:

okay. No, he might as

Stoy Hall:

well meet Mr. Irrelevant. Yeah, he's just been in the Tennessee. He was back up for Taton Hill for very good four years. Yep. So he knows the system. Okay. So he's our

Cole Ingle:

backup. All right. Congrat. Yeah. Hope he doesn't have to play.

Stoy Hall:

Me too. All right, me too. I'm excited about Ritter. Um, he throws, he's gonna throw the ball better Marietta, although pretty sure any quarterback. And then if NFL can throw better than Marietta right down the field. So I'm excited to see the excitement, what could come with it. Yeah. Um, and what's gonna happen because the rest of the NFC. Squeak my chair some more. Mm-hmm. this is the NFC South. This is because it's gonna make me

Cole Ingle:

physically ill.

Stoy Hall:

Yeah. Playoff race. Mm-hmm. Everybody's I, playoffs. Playoffs. Someone's making it Someone. Meaning someone's gonna have to go and play at their home field. At their home field. Yeah. That not, not good. This is not, this is not what I envisioned now I envisioned us, I'm

Cole Ingle:

gonna say these words right now. Hot team in the N F C South is Carolina Panthers. Gross. This year we're gonna go through three quarterbacks and trade a top three player in the N F NFL coach. We're, and we're gonna be the hottest team in the nfl and we're gonna get rid of

Stoy Hall:

our coach. Well then it's time.
